Hello there,
My name is Valentina - though I prefer to go by Val on the day to day basis.
I am an aspiring Interior Designer from Edmonton, Alberta, with a passion for Holistic Practices such as Yoga and Feng Shui. Since graduating from NAIT's Interior Design Technology program, I have spent a few years working in furniture sales, window coverings, and project management for new builds and custom renovations. I have completed a variety of projects anywhere from floral & drapery design – to kitchens and bath renovations. You can find examples of my work, client projects, and technical portfolio below!
With two artsy diplomas under my belt, I am working towards the NCIDQ Certification which is highly recognized in the field of Interior Design. This is a long road ahead, but I am thankful for all experiences that allow for professional development.
My ultimate career goal is to be in the service of people. I find that I can fulfill that goal with Interior Design while incorporating a holistic approach to my projects. My vision is to create carefully crafted spaces where individuals can express themselves fully, feel nurtured, and be inspired.
